Assignment: Imagine that you are the owner of an Inn located on the road between London and Canterbury, and a group of 30 hungry pilgrims come in for dinner. Your largest table will seat only eight people, and you must make seating arrangements for your customers. You have been given background information on all of the pilgrims in the form of a work in progress entitled “The General Prologue,” which is being written by a member of the group. The work summarizes the pilgrims’ character traits, socio-economic statuses, fashion tastes, and morality. Consider all of this information and set up one table according to who will get along best, or, if you are a troublemaker, set it up according to who will get along worst!
