OBJECTIVE: To understand who the pilgrims are in Chaucer’s story.

THE PLAN: With a partner you will research 2 characters from the Prologue. At the end of your research you should be able to accurately describe your character’s:
• Appearance • Social status
• Occupation • Economic status
Your research will reflect an understanding of the middle ages.

THE FINISHED PRODUCT: You and your partner will present in class your characters (speech) you are the experts on your character. You will produce a VISUAL AID- a power point slideshow. Keep in mind you will have to teach the class about your character. Your purpose will be to inform them in an interesting manner. Hand outs, notes, etc., will be appreciated and I must have a copy of them with your names included on it.
