Product Description
For this creative summative assessment, students work with three other students to demonstrate their level of mastery of the skills and concepts studied over the course of time spent with Geoffrey Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales. To this end, they will use Word and/or Publisher to create a magazine analyzing the poet’s characterization of a single character, demonstrating a full understanding of irony, providing insight into the author’s purpose, and visually showing comprehension of the plot and themes of a tale not discussed in class (The Miller's Tale).

The final product, a literary magazine, will function as a wonderful tool for students to share insight with the rest of the class. Additionally, this product comes with three rubrics to evaluate three major components of the assessment.
