This 40-question test covers four tales from Geoffrey Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales. The four tales and prologues of focus are "The Miller's Tale", "The Reeve's Tale", "The Pardoner's Tale", and "The Wife of Bath's Tale."
The test includes four sections: multiple choice on plot (21 questions), identification of tale genres (5 questions), Matching the Speaker to His/Her Prologue (5 questions), and Character Quote Identification using Context Clues (10 questions). This test was designed for AP or Honors level upperclassmen, but questions are easily modifiable for your students. Compatible for paper tests or Scantron forms.
