Laminate the “Cookie Sheet” and the different colored cookies/children can use these for making patterns or making math sentences by putting cookies on the tray and then recording their math sentences on a sheet of paper (ex. They put three star cookies and one round cookie …3+1=4 and so on). I also LOVE LOVE LOVE to put a real cookie sheet or two on the math center table and use these little laminated cookies with a little piece of sticky back magnet tape on the backs of them…then they can make the cookies “stick” to the cookie sheet while they make patterns or do math problems. They love this!

Three different levels of work for this activity depending on where your kids are at. There is a recording/check off list to go along with each HIDDEN WORD/LETTERS PAGE. I laminate the colored hidden picture pages and make multiple copies of the recording sheets and set them out for literacy center activities or else make available for word work.
