Here is a great packet to grab if you are getting close to finishing the novel, and are about ready to have students start preparing for an exam/essay.
This is what you get:
Study Guide--Students complete a multi-part study guide to go in depth on characters, symbols, motifs, general plot questions, and develop thematic statements.
Exam--This exam is aligned with the study guide. If students did their work, the exam should be no problem! Organized in almost the same format as the study guide.
Essay Exam--Attach this to the exam, or use it alone. Students choose between two compare/contrast essay prompts.
Alternate Essay Exam--If you have already taught CITR and The Great Gatsby, I've provided you with another compare/contrast essay prompt that asks students to write about Holden and Jay, taking into consideration specifics listed on the page.
