Tired of discussing the same old questions when teaching J.D. Salinger's novel, The Catcher in the Rye? Looking for a way to freshen up your unit plan? The 92 questions on these task cards cover all aspects of the novel and are designed to really get your students thinking and make your lesson plans shine. Cards/questions are included for every chapter of the novel, with additional cards/questions on the novel as a whole.
How can you use these cards? After each act, have students work in pairs with one of the cards and present their answer to the rest of the class. These cards can also be used as bell ringers, exit slips, or even quizzes. You could also use them all at once once you've finished reading the play and have each group work on the questions for an act.
