Product Description
This is a two page work sheet I created to be used with The Gateway to U.S History for Florida's EOC Test book. It covers pages pages 25-28 and deals with:
- The Freedmen’s Bureau
- Lincolns Ten-Percent Plan
- The Thirteenth Amendment
- The Fourteenth Amendment
- President Andrew Johnson & Congressional Battles
- The Black Codes
- Readmitted to the Union
- 5 Districts divisions of The South
- The Tenure of Office Act
- Why did Congress Impeach him

It then has a summative writing assignment that instructs to do the following : " Write ONE paragraph on whether you think President Johnson’s impeachment was justified. Examine the grounds for impeachment in The U.S constitution. For what reasons do you believe a president should be impeached?"
I include the Constitution's sets specific grounds for impeachment above the prompt.

It takes about two 45 minute class periods to complete
It is in an editable WORD file.
