Product Description
These ten comprehension questions are listed in the same order as they occur in the story. That really helps struggling readers find information. I always use this assignment as open-book classwork, but it could also be used as homework.
The questions are written with ample space between them for student responses.
The second page is a thorough answer key. Personally, I think this particular story is perfect for sub plans. It's straightforward and not complicated (in terms of vocabulary or readability). It's very manageable for substitutes (and for your students without you there!)
The only literary term on this assignment is narrator.
