18. The Gettysburg Address (students will analyze excerpts from the Gettysburg Address)
19. Sherman's March to the Sea (students will take notes on the cause, event and effect of Sherman's March)
20. The End of the War (students will take notes on the meeting at Appomattox Court House, the terms of surrender and the effects of the war)
