PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This mini-unit compares and contrasts the classic version of the folktale, The Three Little Pigs, with The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs by Jon Scieszka (for the classic version, we used The Three Little Pigs by Maggie Moore, but most any classic version would suffice). The 10 activities in the mini-unit address the following skills:

- story elements
- character traits
- sequencing/order of events
- comparing & contrasting (Venn Diagram)
- writing (prompt – “Fact or Fiction?”)
- comprehension
- group project / team builder

This graphically stunning mini-unit features engaging, meaningful activities that your students are sure to love. We hope you enjoy it! :)
