This 12-slide power point presentation introduces students to the events of the Korean and Vietnam Wars in the larger global context of the Cold War. It is designed to be used as the third part of a four-part Cold War Series of lecture notes that are available on TpT (also including the Cold War Overview, The Events of the Cold War, and The End of the Cold War). This particular power point begins with the division of Korea following WWII and continues to take students through the major events and impacts of the Korean War and Vietnam War. The power point would be appropriate to use in either a World or US history class. Be sure to search for the other Cold War presentations and skeleton outline notes available on TpT that students can complete as you provide the lectures.
