Product Description
When light travels in a straight line, it appears to be colorless and is called white light. The question to be answered in this lesson plan is What happens when white light passes through a wedge-shaped object called a prism? You will need a clear glass bowl, water, a small mirror to fit inside the glass bowl, sunlight and a piece of heavy white paper (cardboard or Bristol board). Have your students document their findings. Answer key included.
