This packet is an easy way to get started with the math common core state standard 2.NBT.4. It will help you make informed decisions on how to teach the concept of comparing two 3-digit numbers based on base-ten properties using symbols (<, >, =). A break-down of the standard is included to help you (the teacher) understand what the standard means, and what is expected of each student. Classroom activities and student learning targets are suggested.
