This test is composed of 60 marks. It has the following five sections: plot (10 multiple-choice questions), characters (10 identification questions), mechanics (15 multiple-choice questions based on the fundamentals of a story: setting, theme, etc.), vocabulary (15 matching questions), written response (10 marks).
There is an outline included at the beginning of the test to give to your students. On the outline all elements of the test are detailed to help guide their studying.
The way this test is constructed is ideal for a multiple-choice sheet, such as a Scantron, as the options for matching and identification do not go beyond the A to E range. However, it can be completed hand-written on paper as well.
The key which is included has answers for all of the questions including the written response.
