Need a guide to the Constitution? Then look no further!
This PowerPoint presentation introduces students to the principles behind and structure of the Constitution. Students will learn about the meaning and origins of federalism, separation of powers, checks and balances (among others), and will then examine how the Constitution is laid out: the Preamble, Articles, sections, and certain amendments.
The presentation also leads students through specific Articles of the Constitution - focusing on Articles I, II, and III - and provides brief summaries of the remaining articles.
The PPT presentation uses a Calibri font (which can be adjusted as needed), and is saved using an Office 97-2003 format. Each slide includes extensive, custom animation, which can also be adjusted as needed.
Finally, the download includes a graphic organizer (blank and complete) for students to use during the presentation.
