Product Description
Cereal Box Project:
1. Choose a person whom you believe to be a contender based on the characteristics we discussed in class. You may choose a character from a book, a historical figure (alive or dead), someone you know, a famous athlete, a family member, etc… You may NOT choose yourself. Brainstorm a list of two to three people on whom you would be interested in completing your project.
2. Research your person/character so that you have the following:
a. A picture of your person/character
b. At least 4 accomplishments of that person/character
c. At least 15 characteristics of that person/character
d. Explanations as to why your person/character is a contender (at least 3 reasons)

Reading Comprehension Log (RCL) for the entire novel.

Activate prior knowledge and make predictions using the probable passage.

After students have read the novel, they will create a Sociogram noting the connections and relationships between characters.
