Resiliency is important! To be resilient we (and our scholars) need coping skills. This fun, 15 minute classroom micro-lesson makes the concept of coping skills concrete through a fun, interactive, kinesthetic activity. All you need a one or two balls of yarn!

Scholars will have the opportunity to grow their self-regulation and coping skills while practicing their teamwork and communication skills. After this lesson, scholars will be able to...

♥ Define "coping skill,"
♥ Identify positive vs. negative coping skills, and
♥ Verbalize the ways coping skills give us 'bounce back'
