This is a great Halloween-themed reading comprehension activity.
Use for morning work when students enter on Halloween.
Use at a center to spark interesting and purposeful discussion on a story.
Use at whole group time to scaffold comprehension instruction.
Send home for homework on Halloween week.
Cut the questions out and use as bell-ringers or tickets out the door.
Have students choose 3-10 questions to write responses in their reading response journal. This works great since the questions are open-ended. Help students practice including the question in the answer (POQ).
