14 Character Foldables – Each character foldable is illustrated by artist, Rob Fairburn* and include 6 excerpts from the novel. Students use these excerpts to determine and discuss character traits revealed in the passage. Included in the Appendix/Reference section of the Interactive Notebook is a list of character traits that students may find useful when completing these foldables.
Character Relationship Map + 19 character mini-foldables – Students use this map to keep track of who’s who and why they’re important. The tabloid-sized map includes 19 character mini-foldables illustrated by local Louisiana artist, Rob Fairburn*. In these foldables, students can record key information pertaining to each of the characters (vocation, past, character traits, character synopsis, etc.)

4 - 9 piece puzzles – Just as keeping track of the characters intertwined in this tale of revenge, is complicated, it’s can be a cake walk when compared to keeping track (or even picking up on) the steps taken in each of Edmond Dantes’ vendettas. This component of the Interactive Notebook helps keep track of those actions. Set includes 4 separate 9 piece puzzles. Each puzzle piece includes an excerpt from the story that serves as a clue to The Count’s overall plan.
