I have created an original book about being different in a classroom setting, which expands into the rest of life. It deals with a main character "Uno" who speaks a different language than his peers (who are math symbols) and who feels left out. He is bullied in the story, but one person speaks up in his defense, encouraging the other students to accept him as he is.
The story involves multicultural acceptance while incorporating aspects of mathematics. It would be great to use for a story about bullying, peer acceptance, multicultural acceptance, or fun with math and mathematical irony.
Buyers can use this story in a classroom, but cannot disperse of it in any other way. The "about the author" page must stay in the PowerPoint-displayed story. The images were created on a paint document and cannot be reproduced.
Please inform your students about bullying and accepting others regardless of race, ethnicity, or religion.
