This is a simple fill-in-the-blank film guide for the movie The Crossing. I use this for my 7th grade U.S. History class. My students really like this movie, but they need help keeping track of the important figures and story line. Fill-in-the-blank is much faster than open-ended questions and still keeps the kids accountable for the details. Plus, it can be copied front and back to only use one page of paper.
I usually pause the movie every 20-25 minutes and go over the blanks together as a class. Sometimes, I divide the class into teams to see who can get the most correct before we go over them together. Enjoy!
