PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This unit is designed for 2nd grade and meets the CCSS guidelines listed below. This unit, based off Aesop's fable "The Fox and the Goat", can be done in a few days or over the course of a week, depending on time allowed, and can be used in literature circles or be completed as a class.

PAGE 1: Fable, Finding adjectives, nouns and verbs, illustration activity, discussion on what the moral of the story is, definition of the word "moral".

PAGE 2: Discussing what a "scene" from the story is, illustrating a scene.
