It's easy to get confused over the many characters in Arthur Miller's "The Crucible," but don't bore your students with a character analysis worksheet or character chart! Amp up the engagement with these character trading cards!
You can have students create a card for each major character, or you could facilitate a fun activity where each student creates one for a different character. Here are a few options:
-The students can do a character "meet and greet" where they share their cards with other characters!
-The students can "battle" the other characters based on the character traits and "power" rating.
Even if you just have students complete the cards, this activity will be more engaging than your standard worksheet, but it will still force your students to think critically about the characters.
