This is a handout with specific critical reading questions to help students do a strong close read of the text. Each act has approximately 10-15 questions with page numbers that correspond to the 1952 edition (Black hard cover - cited within). There are two columns: one with the questions and one for the students to write their answers. There are also a list of success criteria by which students need to answer the questions (complete sentences, using strong textual evidence, etc.) Honestly you could use this as a homework assignment, in-class assessment, or group activity to prepare for seminar. I've used it as all three, but I find that it helps even the most struggling readers can access to the text.
