PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Figurative language can be hard for younger students to understand. By having them dissect certain types of figurative language, my hope is that they feel more comfortable using it in their own writing. This lesson plan uses pages from the book listed as a packet. IF you don't use the same book, don't worry! Take whatever addition book you have and have the students work on figurative language your book presents. This lesson plan is totally adaptable to any book and any classroom!
