This is an excellent post-read assessment that helps to evaluate how well students understood the play itself, as well as elements of writing and digital literacy including bias, journalism, and graphic newspaper layouts. It is a great group activity that allows for individualized roles and leadership opportunities. This assignment can be done both in class and at home, depending on your amount of class time available.
Prerequisites for this assignment include:
1. Having read and discussed the play as a class
2. Some time spent in class with bias and newspaper terms/layout.
