Before students begin reading The Crucible by Arthur Miller, have them complete this opinion survey. You can use it to facilitate a student debate where they go to the right side of the room if they agree with the statement and the left side of the room if they disagree with the statement. Students can then defend their opinions. After reading the Crucible you can return to the pre-reading opinion survey and have students re-evaluate their positions on each statement. Did they change their minds over the course of reading the play? Note: The thumbnail image alters actual document formatting. Actual document is 1 page.
