This reading guide is a mixture of multiple choice, short answer and short answer response. While some questions are basic comprehension questions, most are designed to be rigorous, requiring students to make inferences, analyze characters and motives, find evidence and support ideas with textual evidence, identify irony and allusion, evaluate the significance of stage directions, and understand the author's overall purpose in writing this play.
