Page 3: Game board

Page 4-6: Vocabulary cards for sequencing, answer choices in questions, and story retelling.

Page 7-8: Comprehension & General Knowledge Questions: a field of 3 (or more) answer choices is provided.

Page 9-12: Basic Concepts: Same vs. different: use the cards on pages 9&10 to label same vs. different or for a receptive task. On pages 11 & 12, circle the picture that is the same as the one on the left. Page 12 is black and white so you can easily print one for each student.

Page 13-15: Basic Concepts: together vs. apart: use the cards on pages 12&13 to label together vs. apart or for a receptive task. Use the hearts on page 14 as manipulatives to teach or practice the concepts.

Page 16-18: Basic Concepts: large vs. small: Each card has a field of 3 hearts, two the same and one different (in size). The hearts’ position changes on each card (no two cards the same). Ask the student to find “large” or “small”, depending on which heart is different on the card.

Page 18-22: Basic Concepts: attribute + noun phrases: cut only on horizontal lines. Fold along center, vertical line. –Use the given prompts to have students receptively identify objects according to their attributes in addition to their shape or have students describe the objects using adjectives of size or color for an expressive task.

Page 23: Basic Concepts: top, middle, bottom: use cards to receptively or expressively target top, middle, and bottom. Each card is different so students don’t get used to one design being in a certain location.

Page 24-25: Grammar: regular plurals

Page 26-29: Association matching: match the go-togethers

Page 30-31: object functions: place cards in a field of 3+ for a receptive task or have students describe the function of each object pictured for an expressive task.

Page 32: Cover cards
