Consists of 36 slides which can be printed back to back for use in Reader's Theater. Each odd slide is an image of the crayon, while each even slide contains the "script" for that crayon. The first two slides are the front book cover and a blank slide to allow correct front to back printing. Also included are narrator slides, one for the beginning and two for the end. The lines for the reader's theater are taken directly from the children's book "The Day the Crayons Came Home" by Drew Daywalt.
I recommend printing the slides back to back and then laminating them to create durable cards. This allows students to use them in order to practice their parts through repeated readings, and the cards are formatted to allow students to use the same cards when performing the reader's theater! (I would be sure to test print a back to back copy on your specific printer before running all of the copies to be sure they print right side up on your machine. This will prevent a waste of ink and/or card stock paper.)
