In this writing activity, students are given a task card that tells them how one of the crayons are doing since writing their letter to Duncan. Then the students are prompted to write another letter to Duncan from the crayon's point of view. There are 8 writing prompts from 8 different crayons in the story. This activity can be used at any point after reading the book. Use as whole class or use in a writing center.
