Product Description
Have you ever needed a formal written lesson plan for an observation or to boost yourself up? Look no further!

The SOL and ACEI standards are listed along with the objectives and goals. Materials, pre-assessment examples and data chart, a scripted narrative description, accommodations and differentiations, rubric, evaluation, and post-assessment and data chart are all included.

This is an extensive lesson plan for a 2-5 grade level classroom. The lesson is broken down into VA SOL standards but also aligns with common core standards. The lesson is focused around understanding the main idea and supporting details of a book. The students are engaged with the text and then use strategies to find and understand the difference between main idea and supporting details. They use this information to create a found poem using the letter from their favorite crayon color. This is one of my favorite lessons to teach!
