Based on the fantastic book 'The Day the Crayons Quit' (by Drew Daywalt) about a box of unhappy crayons, this project allows students to work together to create their own television interview - featuring a talkshow host from their imagination & a crayon character from the book.
Students will use the template provided to develop insightful interview questions and answers that allow them to show their 'outside-the-box' thinking and understanding of the perspective of the various coloured crayons.
Included in this resources is a project outline, success criteria and a printable template for students to develop their own interview!
*For additional fun and engagement of your learners, try turning the written interviews into videos that students film themselves!
