In this highly engaging activity, students work individually or groups to analyze sections of the Declaration of Sentiments, written at the 1848 Seneca Falls Convention by Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucretia Mott, Susan B Anthony, and Frederick Douglass.
Students interpret 6 different excerpts, rephrase in their own words, then compare it to modern day works to further women's rights!
