Product Description
This presentation given at inservices and in small group faculty meetings focuses on research-based strategies, tips, and ideas designed to improve the quality of a teacher’s effectiveness and the depth of impact on students’ lives.

THE COALS ARE:
1. Make changes in their teaching that will INCREASE the humane treatment of their students and as a result, the depth of learning that occurs.
2. Develop an awareness of the subtle dehumanizing effects of current educational practices.
3. Listen to their students more often and more carefully.

Presented in a manner that demands discussion, this has been an excellent inservice and small group activity that I have done in my building and invited to share with over two dozen other schools in Southwest Kansas. I supplement this Powerpoint with the cheap short booklet "Another Brick" by a college friend of mine, Davis Laughlin (available on TpT as well as on Amazon).
