Product Description
This song was written for a fellow teacher who wanted to help her students remember four famous U.S. and Virginia founders who wrote important documents that helped found and change the course of U.S. History, all through the mighty power of the pen. It's amazing how influential pen and paper can really be! Included documents and founders covered are: King James and his charters, Thomas Jefferson and the Declaration and Statute of Religious Freedom, George Mason and the Bill of Rights, James Madison and the Constitution, and James Monroe and the Monroe Doctrine. Your students will have fun rapping about these famous Americans! (and one English King) Lyrics are included!

"We're gonna find out about some great men,
the documents they wrote with paper and pen,
Religious Freedom by Thomas Jefferson, the the Declaration,
Wait! I'm not done.
Bill of Rights by George Mason, James Madison and the Constitution,
James Monroe feelin' good with his Doctrine,
The Dudes wrote documents, POWER OF THE PEN!"
