This is a great craftivity to use when you are introducing division or after reading the book (The Doorbell Rang by Pat Hutchins). I always copy the cookie page on brown construction paper, the sentence frame on white paper and the cookie sheet on gray. I usually cover the center of the cookie sheet with aluminum foil (for extra cuteness). Every student gets a different division problem or one from the book. Then, they group their cookies on the sheet and make a circle around each equal group with a sharpie. Students complete the sentence frame and I display it underneath the cookie sheet. You can also have an interactive bulletin board and have students match the problem to the correct cookie sheet.
