Using an e-module from the Center on Congress, I created a worksheet for my students to learn about how a bill becomes a law. I was tired of using the same flowcharts and cut-outs so I created a worksheet to give my upper-classman a more authentic view of the process. The worksheet is four pages and concludes with the students creating a flowchart. My students enjoy this learning activity, plus they get to wear their headphones in the computer lab and think that is a special treat.
