Product Description
This presentation will give your students an in-depth study of the ecology of the Florida Everglades. It starts with the basic definitions of ecology and habitat and goes on to discuss food chains, food webs, and conservation. This presentation includes an overview of the various habitats found in the Everglades, as well as key species of plants and animals that can be found there. The presentation rounds out with a discussion of the impact of humans on the Everglades and what can be done to make a positive impact.

The presentation is enhanced with relevant quotes from the book The Missing ‘Gator of Gumbo Limbo by Jean Craighead George. If you've bought my novel study for that book, the presentation is included with it - YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY THIS ONE. However, this is a great stand-alone presentation for the ecology of the Everglades.
