Product Description

This scene takes place in an elevator that is stuck between floors in a high-rise building. It is designed to be a unit in which students write the script, block and direct their scenes, and act. I normally allow at least one week for this assignment. The packet includes the scene prompt with character choices and a description of the final scene expectations as well as a Brief Character Analysis, a Handout for

Scripting, a handout dealing with blocking and movement principles, and a rubric for

the acted scene. The character choices are fun, and the students normally cite this as one of their favorite scenes that we do in class!
