The Emperor’s New Groove – Just how true IS this movie???
This activity is designed to be a follow-up to the movie "The Emperor's New Groove." Students work in groups to read a short text (in English) about certain aspects of the movie, and reflect on how these aspects were portrayed.

The Emperor’s New Groove is a story centering on a spoiled Incan Emperor named Kuzco. After he fires his advisor Yzma, she and her dim-witted assistant Kronk attempt to poison him while Pacha, a poor peasant, attempts to persuade him not to demolish his village to build a theme park. Yzma fails in her attempt to poison him, but does manage to turn him into a llama. Through various twists and turns, Kuzco ends up learning the meaning of true happiness from Pacha.
