English Golden Age, Elizabethan Era, The Glorious Revolution, Henry VIII, Church of England, Elizabeth I, British Navy defeats the Spanish Armada, Settlements in North America, Civil War, King James II replaced, and the parliament limits the power of the monarchy with the Bill of Rights.
This project is a project that I use to teach an overview of the English Golden Age and the Glorious Revolution. There are 8 events that students research information on. When they are finished I have them write an overall summary of the Reconstruction. This is a very STUDENT-CENTERED activity. There is a rubric included for easy grading. You can scale the score to fit points for your class. The directions are simple, and provide for a lot of student CREATIVITY!
The eight events that students investigate are:
Church of England
British Navy defeats the Spanish Armada
Settlements in North America
King James II replaced
...and the Bill of Rights limits the power of the monarchy.
Enjoy this lesson! This activity is great for VISUAL AND VERBAL LEARNERS!
