Have you been searching for an activity on the Enlightenment but can't seem to find what you are looking for. Look no further, we have got what you need.
This "Enlightenment" Activity includes:
1) A graphic organizer that asks students to identify different freedoms that were studied by the key enlightenment philosophers. These ideas include, natural rights, separation of powers, the social contract and individual liberties. Once completed with the graphic organizer, students will read quotes from three of these philosophers and answer questions about their quotes. The goal of this is to see exactly what the philosopher said and try to understand what impact they may have had on the governments that we have today.
2) A detailed answer key to help make grading a breeze and guide student understanding.
