This resource is written in simple words for young children. We do not really know the names of the three kings because the Bible does not tell us. Tradition tells us that they were named Caspar (sometimes spelled Gaspar), Balthasar, and Melchior. Even though we are not sure of the exact events and time line of the kings visit to Jesus, we know that it happened when Jesus was young and traditionally celebrate the Ephiphany twelve days after Christmas.
The teacher read aloud is meant to be a shared reading activity. The student booklet has less words and not as many pages.
There are 2 options for creation of the book. In the first option, children create the illustrations from paper and glue onto the pages. The second option is a coloring book option in which children may use crayons, marker, or paint to color.
Both options use the same cover, first page, and last page.
