The Evolution of the Page: How I Create my Lessons and Materials for TpT

This is a brief video showing you how I go about creating some of the artwork I use for my lessons. This is for my up-coming ESL Listening Lesson on 'Black Holes', a topic my language students have been requesting for quite some time. This page design took roughly 30 minutes to create.

I love creating my own content; always have. Everyone creates things in their own way. This is mine. While I try to be as linear in the process as possible, I rarely stick to one element at a time, for I find it helps me to create the content organically.

This new listening lesson titled 'Black Holes: What's on the Other Side?' is available for download here.

ESL Lifeline is my way of giving back to the ESL community that has given me so much. I like creating materials that are relevant to what is happening in the world today, with a critical eye on the needs of the future. In creating, I always ask myself:

-What skills will students need for building a better future?

-How can they develop more critical thinking skills?

-What ways might their creativity be called upon to help them?

-How will they contribute to their own futures?

-How far will they dream?

-Will they reach the stars?

I am constantly working on creating more materials like this and welcome all feedback, including ideas for new topics, to make it better.
