The FACE Project Grief Module enables school counselors to deliver seven small group sessions that guide students through the five stages of grief and promotes healthy ways to cope with a significant loss. The small group lessons are applicable to the death, incarceration, military deployment or other family trauma that effects children in grades k-5. Lesson plans include two distinctive levels of activities that are tailored to meet the developmental needs of students in K-2 and 3-5.
The FACE Project is a research based, non-profit organization that provides no or low cost character education curriculum to teachers and counselors. The FACE Project provides professional support to all school partners and is available to craft lesson plans that specifically address the social and emotional needs of school communities.
