EARTH DAY SALE! Price cut from $10 to $8 until April 24th!
is a 20 minute animated film to introduce your students to the Eco-Footprint. The video features Planet Earth, Little Rosie (from the Little Earth Charter video series) and special guest Org
, a cave-kid from prehistoric times. Org accidentally time-travels to the present day where he notices that there's plenty of everything! There's so much stuff that Org becomes wasteful. But with a little help from the Narrator, Rosie and Earth manage to teach Org about his eco-footprint.
The story is a playful introduction to the sustainability of resources such as water, food, clothes, transportation, toys, and energy, with a musical segment on each. The environmental take-away is to avoid wastefulness, with a few tips and tricks along the way. Perfect classroom activity to prepare for Earth Day.
A printable activity is included with this video
- your students can answer the questions and calculate how big (or small!) their eco-footprint is. Colour and black/white PDFs are suitable for printing class handouts.
Directed by JC Little. Script by Cindy Filipenko. Animated by Oscar Nominee Alexei Kharitidi. Produced by Little Animation Inc.
