This emergent reader little book will help young students practice early reading skills, while learning about things that we see in the fall!!
Throughout the book, students see different things that might be in a fall basket. The following vocabulary words are included: red apple, yellow apple, green apple, scarecrow, squirrel, acorn, and pumpkin.
The book follows the pattern, "The ... is in the basket" to support emerging readers. On the last page, the pattern changes, showing a child in the basket with the words "I am in the basket!"
This book includes the same text on both the top and bottom of each sheet of paper to make copying, sorting, stapling, and cutting easy to create a class set of little books!!
