The Family Under the Bridge Guided Reading Plans

Hello friends! We're very excited to share this guided reading packet with you. This Common Core aligned packet was created to be used with the award-winning book, The Family Under the Bridge by Natalie Savage Carlson.

If you love this story as much as we do (and if you find yourself in need of some thorough and engaging plans), then you should come on in and take a look around.

Here's what we provide for each chapter:

* An "I Can" statement that gives an overall learning objective that clearly states what each child should be able to do upon completion of the chapter.

* Pre-selected vocabulary words, definitions, example sentences, and a place for your students to practice using these words.

* A mini-lesson that introduces a specific reading skill.

* A reading skill practice example with examples from the story.

* Activities that the students complete to practice the reading skill.
